What is your level of experience with cycling?:

How many years have you done the peloton ride?:

2010, 2011 & and this year, 2012.

Why are you riding in the peloton?:

So that those facing cancer may one day do the same, and for the love of those who have fought and are fighting cancer.

What are your top 5 inspirational songs you listen to while riding?:

I Throw My Hands Up in the Air Sometimes ... I came to dance, Life is a Highway, Don't Stop Belivin', Desiderata, Hallelujah, KD Lang, Have I Told You Lately, I Believe, I Will Remeber You, Imagine.

Who are you riding for?:

The family of my warrior, Jennifer Fong Turner, who passed away in March.

What do you hope to get out of the experience this year?:

It is not what I hope to get out of the experience, it is what I hope to give ... hope for those who need hope.

What are you looking forward to most?:

The journey.

What is your biggest fear for this journey?:

Crashing mentally and physically.

How have you been affected by cancer?:

I have lost too many loved ones.

If cancer walked into the room, what would you say to it?:

You weren't invited, and the door will show you out!

What makes you pedal harder—(when the riding gets tough, what do you think about)?:

My dear friend, while fighting cancer, said to me once that she would give anything to have just an ordinary day. When I am being challenged, I think about how fortunate I am having an extraordinary day.
