Why are you riding in the peloton?:
My husband and I got involved with Cancervive and Wellspring Calgary through a colleague and decided to sign up for the Peloton trip. At first, I didn't think it would be possible for me to go, as I'm fairly new to road cycling, but after spending more time with the group and learning more about the cause, it seemed like such a great way to be involved!

My husband's singing!
Who are you riding for?:
Everyone that can't.
What do you hope to get out of the experience this year?:
Make great friends, support a great cause, and get some great training!

Meeting Patrick Dempsey! Oh, and spending 9 days cycling beside my husband to help raise funds for such an amazing cause!

That it will be harder than I expected.
How have you been affected by cancer?:
Both my mother and father-in-law have each undergone their own cancer journeys.

You can't change me.
What makes you pedal harder—(when the riding gets tough, what do you think about)?:
That I've got it easy; no matter how hard it may be, dealing with Cancer would be worse.
